Ground with Rancillio Rocky S, prepared with Rancillio Silvia. Always had some small sidestreaming, but the coffee still came out good. Had to overdose quite a bit.
The coffee really surprised me, as I did not yet stumble upon beans that produced great acidity without being very 'third-wavy' with a tendency to sourness. These Columbian beans on the other hand had a really great balance of a fantastic mouthfeel with a very bright and sparking character. In a cappuccino they came out refreshing and gentle, in an espresso there was a lot to explore.
Would buy again ?
Yes. I still prefer dark roasts and solid flavors without much acidity due to my third wave experience up to now, but those beans could change that.
