Ground with Rancillio Rocky S, prepared with Rancillio Silvia. I had to use a pretty rough grind to get good results. Almost twice the ticks on the Rocky. The beans are looking great. Matte finish, relatively small, but evenly sized and good cracks. Not oily at all and solid color.
Look at the pictures. I've had a bunch of trouble with channelling and in general found those beans not that easy to handle. (Or at least I didn't really get in sync with them.) On the other hand the taste is splendid. Rather soft, milky and gentle, but interesting and complex and well. Not that punchy, not that fruity, but very warm and sweeping.
Would buy again ?
Yes. I've only got then small package (250g), and didn't really get the perfect shot with it yet. It's not my all time favorite, but a great coffee.
