You might have already guessed it, but you begin with providing a starting point for you program. You go with int main (){   ...    } though extra parameters may be added lateron, this is what you need to start with. For a basic application you may also add two includes, #include <stdio.h> and #include <stdlib.h>. STDIO enables you to use e.g. printf and stdlib contains stuff like EXIT_SUCCESS. With this we construct our very first application:
