• Origin: Honduras, Marcala (COMSA Cooperative)
  • Price: ~ 22€/Kilo
  • Blend: 100% Arabica, (50% washed / 50% natural)
  • Character: Vanilla Pudding, little fruity, partly blackberry
Preparation

Ground, measures and pour time are average. Nothing special to take care of, it's an espresso quite easy to handle. Ground with Rancillio Rocky S, prepared with Rancillio Silvia.

Taste

It's Vanilla Pudding all over. Drink it as a simple espresso and you'll get a little more blackberry, but once you put milk into play (Espresso Macchiato already) it's 100% vanilla pudding. I'm not a huge fan of the taste, so I prefer the simple espresso, but if you like vanilla pudding this might be heaven.

Would buy again ?

Maybe once in a while. This is not coffee I'd like to drink on a regular basis, as the taste is quite unique and I think you'd get annoyed by it after a while. But every once in a while this certainly is a different experience.
