Quijote Oh Harvey !

  • Origin: 40% Barsilia, 40% Ecuador, 20% Ecuador
  • Price: ~ 25.6€/Kilo
  • Blend: 80% Arabica (40 % washed, 40% natural), 20% washed
  • Character: strong body, little chocolate, maybe walnut
Preparation

Ground with Rancillio Rocky S, prepared with Rancillio Silvia. The beans are quite shiny. Cracks and sizes are okay, as well as color. Not beautiful, but not that bad either.

Taste

I'm not sure with this blend. It's labeled as "italian style" and this probably suits best. Combining the strong body and good crema with a very coffee-ish feeling. Nothing extraordinary, but very much coffee. Something you can enjoy for a while.

Would buy again ?

The 500g package was too much. In smaller packs it's a refreshingly blunt choice, but I didn't want to drink it anymore after a few weeks. Maybe something to have in a secondary mill.
